Stirred rather then shaken.That sums me up, just fine.  I have always had so many desires todiscover, try out, &create a wide variety of different mediums of"artistic creations", for myself.  I try what I'm drawn to. First liking the idea personally, thus answering the "Desire" toachieve something similar for myself...then others like what I'vecreated and then I must CREATE more of the same to let the masses enjoyit also. A melding of many ideas, techniques, and choices, and orsupplies leaves not much untried. I can't seem to narrow the choices,so why should I.
I'm a 49 year old, artistic crafter...who lovesthe sunshine, & forests that surround me where I live, along withthe sounds and sights of the year round creek that runs through myproperty, thus imploding my creations with nature and plenty of Waterenergy.  Most of my creations are created creek side, under tallcedars, Fir and old maple trees, nestled amongst the willows that graceits shore. Nature's  bounty shares its Herbs and knowledge withme, and I am surrounded with "Life is Art", to inspire me daily.
Ifavor casual rather then "stoic conventional-"ism", and love nothingbetter then to sit quietly creek side working on my most currenttheme/idea.  A bikini and sarong are my daily attire if it's warmenough at all.  The Goddess appeals to my feminity and I celebrateHer with
Flowing beautiful clothing as well.
I love cats, andchildren, as I was a Preschool teacher to 3 year olds for 14 yearsprevious to my move to Northern Calif, and my forested retreat.
Recently I became a grandmother for my second grandchild last year. I am
A mother to 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls.
I'm a creator, not a marketer. But I love to share what I make withthose that are interested. Thus I must rattle the sources of shops andshows that may help get my product OUT THERE

to So many people. And usually wear a variety
of different Hats.
But what of OURSELFS?

To nurture OURSELFS
at least as well as we do our own families?
Some of us do, others forget that to
Pamper/celebrate/ and nurture one self
is to allow and acknowledge our
OWN limitations, and importance.  Thus,
to see the NEED to enhance and restore
our physical, spiritual, and mental well-being
so we can be better people to our families and others.
  Fuel, and tune up the machine, as it may be.
I'm a LUCKY Lady.  I work doing what I like to do.
  I'm a designer, working in many mediums.
Most of my time is spent creek side under the shade
of our own private forest.  The sound of running water
permeates all my creations.
I dress, as I want, casual bikini w/sarong
or perhaps some flowing Goddess like attire
is what I'll choose. Depending on the "task at hand",
even shorts, jeans  and a tool belt may grace
my form.I read quite a bit, and take time for facials,
and the painting of toes.I listen to
Enya and Baka beyond type of music,
and eat lots of vegetables.  I am currently raising 2 boys,
as my 2 girls have grown and moved on .
I'm married to a wonderful man,
who embraces Women energy, and he is genuinely
appreciative of who I am.  He cares & likes me.
So as NOT to loose my Women energy in a household of men, I work at REMEMBERING that I am beautiful, talented,
and can TRY anything, and often do succeed at it.
Id like to connect more spiritually with local women in my community thru women's circle,
yet residing rurally distances often can make that difficult.
Living as we do, in a small town we all know that it often takes
a whole village to raise one child.
  What often helps another helps oneself.
Remembering our own needs, with inner confidence,
opens doorways to self-fulfillment, and happiness.
If WE don't, who will?
It's the trickle down effect.

The smudging ceremony is aspiritual cleansing ritual in which sage, cedar and/or sweetgrassbundles or loose herb are burned in a vessel (abalone shell seems to becommon) and fanned in the direction of those things that one wishes topurify in spirit - by use of a feather fan. The fan can be comprised ofa single feather or clusters. I make the latter, and out of some verycolorful donations from parrots, pheasants and peacocks - as well asmany wild birds, particularly the turkeys mentioned previously.
